Responsibilities:

  • Will focus directly on the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.

  • Will assist with recruiting and enrollment.

  • Will also substitute teach when needed.

Requirements:

  • Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood OR a related degree with at least 21 semester hours in early childhood courses.
  • Must be DCFS Site Director Qualified.
  • Candidates without the required education/certification will not be considered.

This is a full time position during the normal school year (August to May). Would be eligible for unemployment during the two months off with no disruption in benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and arrange required health services (physical exams, dental exams, vision/hearing screenings, immunizations, etc.) for Head Start children
  • Compile health information
  • Maintain records of all health services provided
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff, classroom personnel, volunteers, and parents
  • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings
  • Make home visits to families to discuss health problems
  • Organize and lead the Health Services Advisory Committee
  • Conduct on-site visits to Head Start Centers and Home-based programs
  • Develop menus for all Head Start children

Qualifications:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree with health-related experience

This position will perform dispatch and various other program and clerical duties for the Tri-County Rural Transit Program.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain up to date listing of fleet vehicles and assigned drivers.
  • Serve as a substitute driver.
  • Perform a variety of office and clerical support duties as assigned.

  • Keep facility clean and free of clutter.

Tri County Rural Transit is hiring for the position of part-time Transport Driver. Pay based on experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide safe and courteous transportation to passengers utilizing program vehicles. Assist passengers on and off the van as needed within reason. (Drivers will not lift passengers in/out of wheelchairs. Do not endanger the safety of the passenger or yourself during assistance. The transportation program operates a door-to-door service; do not enter the homes of passengers.)
  • Keep proper documentation of such service and maintenance.
  • Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean and neat at all times.
  • Will accurately input required data on the tablet/software. Will follow the tablet/software as instructed and will notify dispatch of any problems or discrepancies.
  • Will accurately collect all fares and turn in at the end of each work day to the designated staff member and fill out a money collection form.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain a valid Illinois driver’s license and sufficient insurance coverage. Must be capable of operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times. Must have “clean” driving record for minimum of 3 years.
  • Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and a High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Drivers must pass the Federal Transit Administration Drug & Alcohol testing administered by Mid-West Truckers Association through our agency.
  • Drivers must meet current licensing and certification requirements.
  • First Aid and CPR certification will be required and provided within the first 3 months of employment.

This will be a PRN position based out of our Carrollton Senior Center working as needed at our Carrollton, Carlinville, Benld, and Jerseyville locations. The Cook will prepare meals for both congregate and home delivered meals. Must be able to maintain proper safety and sanitary conditions in all areas of food handling, sanitation, and service areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Cook, prepare, and serve meals
  • Package food for delivery or storage
  • Clean dining area and kitchen

Requirements:

  • Qualified applicant must be over 21 years of age.
