IVEDC is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:
In-Home Care Aides – Macoupin County (Part-time) – Will assist senior citizens in their homes with household chores, meals, errands and other daily living activities. Must have reliable transportation, possess a high school diploma. Contact Amy Penzotti at email@example.com Click Here
Head Start Site Director/Sub Teachers – Benld and White Hall (Full-time during school year) – Will provide comprehensive oversight of the Head Start site, ensuring safe and smooth day-to-day operations. Work collaboratively with staff to provide a program that complies with Head Start Performance Standards and DCFS licensing standards. Will substitute in any capacity when needed. Associate or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education preferred. Other degrees are acceptable if they include 21 hours in early childhood related classes. Previous supervisory experience strongly desired.
Cook – White Hall (Part-time during school year) – Prepare meals for children ages 3-5. Will cook, create menus, order food, clean, etc. Approx. 29 hrs. per week. Current Food Handler Certification preferred.
Teacher Aide/Drivers – Virden and White Hall (Full-time during school year) – Assist Teacher in the classroom with children ages 3-5. Background in early childhood development preferred. Will also serve as a bus driver to transport children to and from the center on a daily basis. Must be 21 and possess (or be willing to get) an Illinois school bus driver license.
Family and Community Development Specialist – Jerseyville (Part-time and Full-time) – Will work directly with families in assisting them to access programs and services. Will provide active case management and maintain detailed documentation. Prefer secondary education in the areas of human services or social work, or family studies and related work experience.
Educational Assistant/Bus Monitor – Carlinville (Part-time) – Will provide assistance in the classroom to children who have been identified as having a disability or educational concern. May serve as a bus monitor. Must be able to communicate effectively with children with special needs and their parents. Must be 21.
