IVEDC is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:
In-Home Care Aides – Macoupin County (Part-time) – Will assist senior citizens in their homes with household chores, meals, errands and other daily living activities. Must have reliable transportation, possess a high school diploma. Contact Amy Penzotti at email@example.com Click Here
Head Start Teacher– Brighton (Full-time during school year) – Teach children, ages 3-5, with structured activities in a classroom setting at our Head Start facility. The Head Start teacher will plan and prepare lesson plans and activities that contribute to children’s growth and development and will assess children on an ongoing basis utilizing approved assessment tools. Associate or Bachelors degree in child development or early childhood education. Other degrees are acceptable if they include 21 hours in early childhood related classes.
Head Start Site Director – White Hall (Full-time during school year) – Will oversee the Head Start site, ensure safe and smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and DCFS licensing standards. Will substitute in any capacity when needed. Associate or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education preferred. Other degrees are acceptable if they include 21 hours in early childhood related classes. Previous supervisory experience strongly desired.
Facilities and Transportation Coordinator – Gillespie (Full-time) – Oversee all aspects of the agency’s Head Start transportation services and facilities/equipment. Will ensure compliance and best practices of Head Start. Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree. At a minimum, must have at least 2 years of college plus 1 year of management experience with demonstrated skills.
DSP (Direct Support Professional) (2) Gillespie and Jerseyville (Part-time) – Will supervise and support individuals with developmental disabilities. Will follow individualized program plans. DSP certification is preferred. Must be 21 and possess a high school diploma/GED.
